The intriguing bottles may not be worth much --- ~$40 if antique -- but they have a certain charm to 'em =)
Incidentally, if you fill it with something white & non-reflective -- sugar, flower, baking soda -- it's possible to show even more detail in a photo.

When we lived in america , the milk was sold in very thin and soft rectangular plastic containers, a half, one or two gallons to choose from. Only fat real cream of the expensive brand was in glass bottles. That morning delivery of little bottles seemed still usual in movies we watched, but we shopped at the next superstore and got it there. Also never saw a neighbor getting little glass bottles to the doorstep. I had no idea they came with faces like the syrup with the aunt....
