Sun Soaked video
Hand wound. Hand cranked. Hand cut. Ali Lee's new Sun Soaked video portrays Ali and her real friends on vacation in Gulf Shores Alabama. The majority of the video was shot with a 1955 Bolex hand-wind 16mm film camera. We used a Canon C100 high-def video camera to capture the beauty of the beach, the ocean, Ali Lee, and her friends. We also used a hand cranked plastic hobby camera called LomoKino. The final output is a grainy, skip-frame effect.
