Duneaton Water Gold River
This is the spot close to Crawforfjohn that I panned gold . I was unable to find the armoured layer and just got bits at over three foot in a still loose gravel that is very deep at this point. But there is a massive strip of grass for parking up and camping or caravaning for free here. The road leads up the hill to Glengonnar and Leadhills a few miles away. |
