Water of Moness
Look carefully at the exposed bedrock that goes from the boulders to the bank to the tree. Its very very bare of gravel that you would normally expect to see . Having seen this section before covered with gravel that gets replenished every year in winter floods it tells a story.
In fact the local panner left all the area,s he did in exactly the same condition. I did mention he puddled around as he got all his 15 oz from the gravel lying on bedrock as exactly in this example. He never went deep and im not sure if he even wore wellingtons!!
