Changbaishan / 长白山
Changbaishan or the Changbai Mountains is a National Park in China's Jilin province. It is located in the north-east of the country and bordering the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (known as North Korea). The area is well known for the crater lake "Heaven Lake" (Tianchi) which is right on the border to North Korea and popular among Chinese and Koreans. The border basically divides the lake into two halves. In Korea, the mountain is called "Mount Paekdu". It is part of the North Korean propaganda that the "Great Leader" Kim Il-Sung was born on this very mountain.
