Looking for Koyamahananoki-cho

These birds came to eat my breakfast with me when I went to eat by the river.
There were a bunch of these birds circling overhead.
The river has a series of small waterfalls with these reinforcement pieces.
This is the road bridge just before the river forks. After this I walk up the west fork of the river past the Botanical Garden, and the photos are more or less in order going up the river (but sometimes looking upriver and sometimes down).
The ford that is right at the fork.
This is the tip of the bit between the two branches of the river.
Muskrat?
Man feeding pidgeons.
Kyoto had some webs like this on plants.
This seems to be the kind of spider that makes the webs.
Path along the river near the botanical gardens.
Entrance to the botanical gardens.
Looking into the botanical garden.
Plant marker near the botanical gardens.
At the Kitayama-dori bridge, looking on to the west bank.
On to the east bank.
Down river.
Up river.
This is the next bridge past Kitayama-dori; I'm not sure of it's Romanized name.
Looking up river from the bridge.
Map near the bridge.
After the bridge I went back to Kitayama-dori and turned in to go by Motomachi elementary school. This is the corner of the school. After this I circle around the school.
Bus stop outside the school.
Now I walk south in roughly the direction of Koyamahananoki-cho.
Station south of Koyamahananoki-cho.
This map showing the neighbourhoods is near the station on the north east side.
This is close to Koyamahananoki-cho, but I hadn't worked out the exact boundaries yet.
The next neighbourhood over toward the river from Hananoki-cho has this handy number map, but Hananoki-cho doesn't seem to have one.
Notice board for Koyamahananoki-cho (the name is covered up at the bottom).
The name on the notice board.
Map that shows the neighbourhood boundaries!
Closeup of the map. The green(?) pin is probably where the map is. Note that the boundary is part way through blocks, and includes a bit west of the station in addition to the area north and across the first street.
Now that I know the boundaries I tried to walk through the whole neighbourhood. The next series of photos should cover more or less every street in Koyamahananoki-cho.
On a balcony at the north end of the station, looking over Koyamahananoki-cho.
At the station looking toward no. 17.
The station building is on the left here.
These boxes had neighbourhood markings.
I'm not sure if this is still in Koyamahananoki-cho or nearby. Around now I go to a post office just outside the neighbourhood.
No. 17 Koyamahananoki-cho!

Now it is later and I am back at the place where the river forks. This time I walk down the river for a ways and again the photos are more or less in order.
Another bridge map.
This ford has boats and some other construction, instead of turtles.
This is the other thing in the ford.
This is about where I stopped on this walk. I think this would be the bridge of Nijo-dori and the next two bridges would be Oike-dori and Sanjo-dori, just north of Gion.
One more photo showing the cafe/bar things along the river across from Gion.
And some kind of outlet into the river.
